This kit comprises of two heavy-duty stands with an adjustable crossbar. This kit is specifically packaged to cope with the additional weight of the larger and heavier muslin backdrops and is equally useful in the studio or out on location. The advantage of this set-up is that you have the flexibility to choose and change background colour quickly. Unlike wall mounted background support systems (which may require a ladder), simply adjust the crossbar height so you can reach and swap over the background.

To safely support the weight of some heavier muslin backdrops, the stands are spring loaded, have a greater footprint and the stand pole sections have a wider than normal diameter (25mm 30mm and 35mm).
Often referred to as a 'goal post' set-up, the two stand / crossbar combination is designed to be portable and quick to assemble.
1) Arrange the two stands (at a little below head height) at same width apart as your backdrop.
2) Extend the crossbar between the stands, slot the stand spigots through the holes at either end of the bar and secure in place.
3) Drape and secure the backdrop to the crossbar.
4) Finally adjust and raise the height of both stands to achieve the height you require.
