Hire-to-Buy offer
Hiring doesn’t just cover short-term needs — it can also be a way to explore new options. If you find the printer works well for your business and want to make it part of your setup, we’ll make the step simple.
When you purchase a new printer within 30 days of your hire, 50% of your hire fee will be credited towards the purchase price of your new printer. It’s a straightforward way to trial a model in real working conditions before making the investment.

Media
Every hire includes one box of media, which is charged at the time of hire. When your printer is returned, we’ll count the exact number of prints used and refund the difference. If you require additional media, we can supply it, and unopened boxes may be returned (a 15% handling fee applies).
Strut mounts
Complete your prints with professional presentation. Our in-house Stimolantè strut mounts are available in a wide range of sizes and finishes, ready to order alongside your hire.
How hiring works
- Book your hire – pay the deposit and the first week’s hire fee.
- Delivery or collection – choose next-day UK courier delivery or collect from our Enfield showroom.
- Use the printer – each hire includes one box of media; we’ll refund the difference after counting your prints.
- Return – use our arranged courier or drop the printer back to us.
- Refund – your deposit is returned within 7 days.
Delivery & returns
We deliver nationwide for a flat fee of £30 + VAT, which covers both outbound and return courier services. Saturday deliveries can also be arranged at a premium. If you prefer, you’re welcome to return the printer directly to our Enfield showroom. This reduces the overall cost, as only the outbound courier fee will apply.
A two-day grace period applies after the end of your hire. If the printer is returned later than this, an additional full week’s hire charge will apply.
All printers must be returned in their flight case, cleaned, and with consumables removed.
Support & assurance
Every printer is PAT-tested and cleaned before it leaves our showroom, so you can be confident it will arrive ready to work. During your hire, our technical team is available Monday to Friday, 09:30–17:00, to provide setup guidance or troubleshoot any issues.
In the unlikely event that a printer arrives not working, we’ll arrange a replacement or issue a full refund straight away. Our priority is keeping your printing reliable so you can focus on your business.

How is media managed?
One box of media is supplied and charged upfront with every hire. After your printer is returned, we count the prints used and refund the difference. Extra boxes can be ordered, and unopened packs may be returned (subject to a 15% handling fee).
How do I take care of the printer during hire?
You’ll receive an instruction sheet by email with guidance on set-up, transport, and maintenance. As a rule: use the flight case, remove media before moving, empty the scrap box, and store equipment in a dry, room-temperature space. This helps avoid damage and ensures smooth performance.
Why would I choose hire over buying outright?
Hiring makes sense if you need a temporary solution — for example, during a peak season, while your main printer is being repaired, or when you want to trial a model before purchase. It keeps your business running without committing to a full investment.
What if the printer doesn’t work when it arrives?
Every unit is tested before dispatch. If yours arrives not working, we’ll either replace it or issue a refund straight away. Our support team is also available during the week to help with setup or troubleshooting.
What if I need to cancel?
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge unless it’s at the very last minute. The sooner you let us know, the easier it is to reschedule or amend your hire.

Why do you take a deposit?
The deposit protects against loss or damage and ensures the printer is returned in the condition it left us. It also allows us to supply high-value equipment without adding hidden costs into the weekly hire fee.
When do I get my deposit back?
Once the printer is returned, inspected, and cleared by our technician, the deposit is refunded within seven days. Refunds are issued to the same bank account used for payment.
