Godox Products Warranty Policy

This warranty policy applies exclusively to Godox products purchased directly from www.godox.co.uk & www.photomart.co.uk. It forms part of our full Terms & Conditions, which cover delivery, returns, and other policies applicable to all purchases. Please ensure you have read our main Terms & Conditions before making a purchase.

1. General Warranty Terms

  1. Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  2. Applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  3. Proof of purchase and valid serial number are required for claims.
  4. Warranty period begins on the purchase date listed on the invoice.
  5. Products from unauthorised sellers or grey market sources are not covered.

2. Coverage Periods

  1. 2-Year Warranty
    • Selected Godox lighting units (electrical faults only)
  2. 1-Year Warranty
    • Triggers, transmitters, receivers
    • Chargers and control panels
    • Mounting accessories
    • Audio/Video accessories
  3. 6-Month Warranty
    • Modifiers
    • Batteries and chargers (unless stated)
    • Flash tubes, modelling bulbs, glass items
    • Modifier consumables (e.g. grids, diffusers)
    • Collapsible backgrounds
  4. 3-Month Warranty
    • Carry cases and bags
    • Lens attachments (e.g. VSA, BLP, BFP)
    • Consumables (e.g. screws, bolts)
    • Clearance/refurbished units over £50
  5. 2-Month Warranty
    • Spare parts (cables, adapters unless stated)

3. What is Not Covered

  1. Misuse, negligence, improper handling or accidents
  2. Wear and tear or cosmetic damage (scratches, fading, etc.)
  3. Environmental damage (moisture, dust, fire, etc.)
  4. Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  5. Transit damage from poor packaging
  6. Firmware issues caused by unauthorised updates
  7. Consumables and accessories unless faulty from manufacture
  8. Hot shoe damage / breakages
  9. Products without valid or matching serial numbers

4. Serial Number Policy

  1. Each unit must have a visible, legible serial number that matches your proof of purchase.
  2. Products missing serial numbers will be ineligible for warranty support.
  3. Products with incorrect serial numbers from the record will be ineligible for warranty support.

5. Warranty Claims Process

  1. Email [email protected] with proof of purchase and product serial number.
  2. We will confirm eligibility and issue an RMA number if applicable.
  3. Items must be securely packaged. Shipping to us is at your own cost.
  4. Upon inspection, qualifying items will be repaired or replaced.

6. Limitations

  1. No compensation for indirect or consequential losses (missed revenue, time, etc.).
  2. Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
