The Snot SN04, creates a small controlled pool of light, a soft edge or a subtle coloured highlight. The snoot also allows you to place specific directional lighting behind your subject without causing any flare in the lens.
Narrowing down the beam of light emitted by your strobe lights allows you to create directional highlights on your subject. A typical use for a snoot would be to fit the supplied honeycomb grid and use as a hair light, to help separation between your model and the background and create a halo in the hair. It can also be used as a spotlight effect for portraiture or still life.
