When Would You Need a Replacement Ribbon Tray?
Damaged Tray

Please check your printer model before ordering: this tray is for the DNP DS820 and Citizen CX-02W. It is not the ribbon tray for the DNP DS620 or Citizen CX-02.
Keep an Otherwise Working Printer in Use
The ribbon tray is a removable part of the printer's media-loading system. If the original tray becomes damaged or goes missing, replacing the tray can allow an otherwise working printer to remain in service without replacing the printer itself.
