How DNP Dye-Sublimation Perforated Media Works
Dye-sublimation printing uses heat to transfer dye from the ribbon into the receiving layer of the photo paper. The paper and ribbon work together to create the finished photograph your customer receives.
The print is finished with a protective overcoat, helping guard against everyday handling, fingerprints and moisture. With perforated media, the printed sheet can also be separated cleanly along the perforation, making it useful for event layouts that need two smaller sections from one 4×6" print.
