A Honeycomb grid is a great way to have even more control over light distribution and to also limit lens flare. Grids are perfect for accentuating features in portraiture and are a handy effects tool to have if you shoot product photography.
The Honeycomb grid clips into the reflector and help to produce stunning, dramatic lighting with very hard shadow transfer edges. They change the light shape from the reflector and control the angle of coverage. This results in specifically localised lighting with higher contrast and intensity.
