This year marked an exciting milestone for The Photography & Video Show as it made its London debut at ExCeL, and what a show it was! As exhibitors, Photomart and Godox UK were thrilled to be part of such a dynamic event, connecting with photographers, videographers, and content creators from across the country.
From the moment the doors opened, the energy was electric. Our team was eager to meet both new and familiar faces in the industry. The London crowd welcomed us with enthusiasm, bringing fresh conversations, insightful questions, and a genuine passion for photography. While we truly enjoyed this new location, we also missed seeing our long-time friends from Birmingham, where the show had been hosted for many years.

Let’s be honest - 2025 started off rough for many.
The economic uncertainty that carried over from last year is still weighing heavily on businesses of all sizes. Reports indicate that a quarter of UK employers are planning job cuts ahead of tax increases, while rising operational costs, energy bills, and supply chain pressures continue to put businesses under strain.
With companies tightening their budgets and many individuals feeling cautious about spending, consumer confidence is at an all-time low. Across industries, clients are holding back on investments, delaying purchases, and being more selective about where they put their money - including when it comes to photography.
For many photographers, this has translated into a slower-than-usual start to the year. Fewer inquiries, postponed bookings, and budget-conscious clients have made it difficult to maintain a steady workflow. Some studios have had to downsize, adjust their offerings, or even reconsider

Winter presents unique challenges for event photographers, especially when moving between venues with delicate equipment. Dye-sublimation printers, essential for on-site printing, are particularly vulnerable to cold temperatures. Without proper precautions, cold weather can lead to performance issues, costly malfunctions, and even damage your media.
As your imaging partner, we’re here to help you protect your dye-sublimation printer and ensure smooth operation, no matter the weather.
Why Cold Weather Affects Your Printer?
Dye-sublimation printers rely on heat to transfer dye onto paper, making them sensitive to temperature fluctuations. While cold temperatures alone don’t necessarily harm your printer, condensation is the real threat.
When printers and media are stored in cold environments - such as garages, basements, or unheated vehicles - moisture can build up inside as temperatures rise.

As a company committed to sustainability, Photomart has been at the forefront of environmental initiatives.
In 2022, we launched our ground-breaking recycling scheme for dye-sub ribbons, a world-first program that has significantly reduced our environmental footprint. This initiative marked the beginning of our journey towards becoming a more eco-conscious business.
In 2023, we expanded our sustainability efforts by partnering with Tree-Nation to plant new trees. This initiative not only helped to offset our carbon footprint but also contributed to the restoration of vital ecosystems. As we continued to explore ways to reduce our environmental impact, we remained dedicated to making a positive difference.
As we celebrate our 32nd anniversary in 2024 and our 2nd annual Green-Tember, we are thrilled to announce our official partnership with the Epping Forest Heritage Trust. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to becoming a more -

Forget the last-minute flower scramble! International Women's Day (IWD) is about more than just a rushed gesture. It's a day to celebrate the incredible women around the world, recognize the ongoing fight for equality, and honour the amazing women who shape our lives.
Do you know how International Women’s Day was established?
International Women's Day has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century and emerged from a confluence of social and political movements, including the fight for women's suffrage. The courageous suffragettes, like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, were instrumental figures in this ongoing fight for gender equality.
The establishment of IWD is not attributed to a single event or individual. It arose from a series of discussions and actions within various social and political movements.
In 1910, at an international socialist -
